Howard Bramwell Norman was born and lived in Watchet, Somerset and enlisted at Minehead. Serving with the 1st Battalion Somerset Light Infantry, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 9 April 1917, aged 20 years. He was buried in the Fampoux British Cemetery, Pas de Calas. He was the son of Ephraim and Ellen Norman of 6 Gladstone Terrace, Watchet, Taunton.
