Charles Harrison was born at Landport, Portsmouth, Hampshire, on 11 August 1822. He joined the Navy as a Boy 2nd Class aboard H.M.S. Dido on 22 February 1839, and served subsequently aboard H.M. Ships Magicienne, Satellite, Victory (continuously from February 1848 until March 1869) and Asia, from which ship he was finally discharged on 20 May 1872. Sold with copied service records.
