Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 6 clasps, Cape Colony, Elandslaagte, Defence of Ladysmith, Orange Free State, Johannesburg, Diamond Hill (4851 Cpl., Sea. Highrs.) with copy ‘Elandslaagte’ clasp; King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps (4851 Cpl., Sea. Highrs.) both with claws refixed; 1914 Star, with copy clasp (4851 C.S.M., Sea. Highrs.); British War and Victory Medals (4851 C.S.M., Sea. Highrs.) all with re-impressed naming, mounted as worn on silvered brooch bar, some contact marks, nearly very fine and better (5) £200-250

With copied roll extracts confirming the Q.S.A./K.S.A. and clasps. That for the Q.S.A. states, ‘Servant to M. Genl. Sir Ian Hamilton’; that for the K.S.A. states, ‘Served away from Regt. as servant to Lt-Genl. Sir Ian Hamilton from 12th Oct. 1899 to 6th May ‘01 and again 9th Nov. ‘01 to end of war 31st May ‘02.’
