Everett, R.N.A.S.); Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., E.VII.R. (178451 Frank Everett, P.O. H.M.S. Commonwealth) together with sterling silver R.N.A.S. sweetheart brooch and related photograph of the Naval Brigade in China, good very fine or better (6) £180-220
An accompanying note states that Frank Everett served on balloons at Cardington, Bedfordshire; joined H.M.S. Impregnable as a boy after running away from home; commissioned 19 October 1910, when he went over to balloons and was a specialist; was transferred to the R.A.F. (newly formed [from] R.F.C. and R.N.A.S.) on 1 April 1918 as a Lieutenant (see Navy Lists); pensioned or died 1921. Photo of Naval Brigade in China supposedly taken from Frank Everett’s photo album retained by the family.
