Sean Joseph Jennings served in 3 Para in the Falklands, where, in common with fellow Battalion members, he landed at San Carlos on 21 May 1982, participated in two night marches covering a distance of 40 miles, and then went into action on Mount Longdon on 11-12 June, when the Battalion lost 20 men killed and another 40 wounded. Sergeant Ian McKay, of course, won a posthumous V.C. on the same occasion. Jennings appears to have been discharged in the rank of Sergeant in 1995.
