19th Century, Victoria, Diamond Jubilee, 1897, Glasgow, a lozenge-shaped piédfort copper medal by Vaughton, veiled head left, rev. city arms, 52 x 32mm (W & E 3538.4); together with other local Northern England and Scotland base metal medals for royal events, 1887-1951 (20), from Blackpool, Darlington, Dundee, Bacup, Huddersfield, Haslingden, Grimsby, Stalybridge, Nelson, Wigan, etc [21]. Mostly very fine, some better (£40-60)
