Peter Downing, from Kerry, joined the Royal Irish Constabulary on 15 February 1896, aged 24 years, 10 months. He was initially posted to Meath and then to Dublin in 1908. He was discharged on the disbandment of the Force on 4 April 1922. Sold with some copied service details.
