20th Century, Zeppelins in London, 1916, a uniface bronze medal by L. Gies, three Zeppelins flying over buildings, shipping below, amongst which a bomb explodes, 61mm (Frankenhuis 1100; Kaiser 432; Bernhart 126; cf. DNW 35, 425). Amongst the most emotive of all the Zeppelin medals and a representation of considerable naïve charm, very fine and extremely rare (£400-600)
