1st West India Regiment, a fine and scarce officer’s 1855 pattern copper gilt shako plate, the crowned eight pointed star overlaid with oak sprays enclosing a strap ‘West India Regiment’, in the centre on a domed ground a floreate ‘1’, lug fasteners missing and the cross missing from the top of the crown, the gilt good £250-300
