Alfred Lawrence Watson was born in Coventry, on 21 January 1894. A Draughtsman by occupation, he entered into the R.N.A.S. as a Petty Officer Mechanic on 16 November 1914. Based on Pembroke III and President II, he served in armoured cars, 16 November 1914-1 September 1915. He later served at Aberdeen and Pulham. He was later taken into the R.A.F. as a Sergeant Mechanic and served variously at Pulham, Aberdeen, Chigford - with 155 Squadron and Felixstoxe. Entitled to a 1914-15 Star. Sold with copied service papers.
