Michael Henry Deegan was born in Kilbride, King’s County, on 7 September 1898 and enlisted into the Army at Tullamore on 3 May 1915. Serving in the 2nd Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, he was discharged due to wounds on 28 December 1916 and was awarded the Silver War Badge. He later served with the 6th Battalion Royal Irish Regiment. Sold with copied research.
