Miss Carrie Treacy was born on 11 February 1887. Entering Royal Service on 1 December 1930, she worked as the Nursing Sister in the Royal Mews from then until her retirement on 11 February 1952. She was a State Registered Nurse, and in 1931 she gave her home address as 24 Kimberley Street, Sunderland’. She died on 11 January 1986.
