The South Wales Borderers, a good quality officer’s Home Service blue cloth helmet, complete with all standard gilt fittings, the KC plate with silver dragon and laurel centre and similar title scroll, very fine internal condition with sweatband and silk liner, tailor’s period label ‘Llewellyn SW Bordrs’, plate original to the helmet, some gilt remains on the plate but lacking on all other areas, small dent under and around one of the quadrant finials, skull and cloth excellent £400-500
