Wales Bord.); 1914 Star (6316 Pte., S. Wales Bord.); British War and Victory Medals (6316 Pte., S. Wales Bord.) suspension post repaired to first and first two medals with some edge bruising and contact wear, therefore nearly very fine, the Great War trio nearly extremely fine (5) £500-600

Charles East was born in South Shields and enlisted at Leeds. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 26 September 1914, whilst serving with the 1st Battalion, South Wales Borderers.
