Royal Regiment of Artillery, a very rare other ranks die-cast brass shako plate 1812-16, a crowned rococo plate with central design as for the officers, four holes for attachment around the border, a small hole on the right hand side between the border and the strap, otherwise good condition for age £250-300
Though contemporary and of the period, this is probably a ‘made in the field’ example.
This lot was sold as part of a special collection, The Collection of Artillery Insignia formed by the late Norman Litchfield.
