Frederick Richmond was born, lived and enlisted at Oldham. He served initially in the Manchester Regiment and thence the 1st Battalion Liverpool Regiment. He died at home on 19 October 1918, aged 25 years, and was buried in the Oldham (Chadderton) Cemetery. He was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Richmond of 4 Cowhill View, Werneth, Oldham.

Giles Shaw Davenport was born in and enlisted at Oldham. He served initially in the Manchester Regiment and thence the Machine Gun Corps. Serving with the 27th Company M.G.C., he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 21 September 1917, aged 32 years. He was buried in the Mendinghem Military Cemetery. He was the son of Edwin and Ann Davenport of 72 Binks Brow, Waterhead, Oldham.

Edward Southern enlisted at Oldham, initially in the Manchester Regiment and thence the Machine Gun Corps. Serving with the 197th M.G.C., he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 3 May 1917, aged 22 years. He was buried in the Athies Communal Cemetery Extension. He was the son of Thomas and Mary Southern of 133 Denton Lane, Chadderton, Oldham.
