Victoria (1837-1901), 1860, restrike by J. Moore for E. Shorthouse, type 2, in copper, from the same dies as previous, edge plain, 11.08g/12h (F 843 [dies 3+B; not in Sale]; BMC 2116; Magnay 277; Adams 172). Characteristic group of rust spots on neck partially polished out, small knock on Britannia’s right knee and metal fault on lower edge, otherwise virtually as struck, rare (£180-220)
