Surgeon H. Waller, Medical Staff. ‘At great personal risk, rescued a man from drowning at Prome, Burmah in July 1891’ (Case No.25623).
Hardress James Waller born at Gyah, Behar, East Indies on 18 December 1863. An M.B., he was appointed Surgeon, afterwards Surgeon Captain on 1 February 1890. He died at Bernardmyo, Madras on 8 November 1892.
