Samuel Lockwood was born in East Stouham, near Stowmarket, Suffolk and enlisted into the 95th regiment on 16 August 1845. At his own request he transferred to the 68th Regiment in January 1846. He was discharged in November 1856 being found unfit for further service. Sold with copied discharge papers.
