Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Secondary series G [Quentovic], type 3a, bust right with double-lined diadem across spiky hair, drapery formed of upturned chevrons, long cross in field, interlocking with pouting lips, rev. degraded standard containing four crosses and four pellets arranged around central annulet, 0.98g (cf. SCBI Abramson 318 [of differing bust style]; Abramson 21-30; S 800). A little surface porosity, otherwise better than very fine, scarce of this bust style £240-£300
