FRANCE, Faune et Faunesse, 1908 [issued 1911], a bronze plaque by P.-L. Durousseau for the Société des Amis de la Médaille française, naked female standing right, playing a double flute, rev. partial head of a male faun, edge impressed 62, bronze, cornucopia and foundry mark of the SAMF, 62 x 31mm, 52.21g (Maier 48; Coll R. Marx 140; ANS Exh. Cat. 1910, p.88, 7-8; BDM VII, 243; cf. Baldwin 81, 3540; cf. DNW 188, 847). Some rubbing to high points of reverse, otherwise very fine, rare £150-£200
