Francis Louis Scott-Kerr was born on 14 June 1868, third son of William Scott-Kerr, J.P., D.L., of Chatto and Sunlaws. He served with the Cameron Highlands in the war in South Africa 1899-1902, and was second-in-command of the 6th Battalion in France from July 1915. He died on 8 May 1941.
