Harry Ernest Smith was born in Camberwell, Surrey and enlisted at St. Pancras, Middlesex. Serving with the 17th Battalion K.R.R.C. he was killed in action, France / Flanders, 10.2.1917, aged 37 years. He was buried at the Vlamertinghe Military Cemetery, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
