Henry Healy served throughout the Defence of Lucknow and was wounded in the left hand and right arm on the 13th July 1857. Born in Quebec, North America, Healy enlisted in the 32nd on 22 October 1846. He was promoted Sergeant in September 1859, Hospital Sergeant in April 1860, Bugle Major in October 1864, and reverted to the rank of Sergeant in September 1869. He was finally discharged on 7 March 1871, and settled in London. At the age of 72 he was convicted at Westminster Police Courts on 21 October 1904, of 'wife maintenance arrears' and sentenced to 21 days imprisonment in Wandsworth Prison.
