Lance-Corporal William Thomas Jupp, was born in and enlisted at Brighton, Sussex. He served initially in the Royal Sussex Regiment and then in the 8th battalion Royal West Kent Regiment. He died of wounds, France / Flanders, 19.6.1917. He was buried in Lijssenhoek Military Cemetery, near Poperinghe, Belgium.
