Kathleen Talbot was the daughter of Major-General Sir Reginald Talbot, K.C.B. (see lot 235). She served with the V.A.D. during the Great War (mentioned in despatches). MissTalbot was awarded the M.B.E. in the New Years Honours list of 1943 for Meritorious Service as Honourary Organiser of the County Garden Produce Committees and the Village Produce Associations. She died unmarried on 2nd July 1958.
