Masonic Medals, United States of America, Masonic Interest: Lodge 68, St. George’s AF and AM, a large and elaborate openwork Past Master’s jewel, in 18ct gold, by H. C. Garth, Baltimore, Maryland, compass and set square, the top surmounted by a diamond, dividing columns, scroll above, sun in centre, with small diamonds for eyes, obverse wreath either side and below, legends picked out in royal blue enamel, named to J. Harry Garmer, on ornamented bar at top, suspended from which are t the letters ‘K D’, these studded with small diamonds; with an additional engraved inscription, ‘presented by the brethern [sic] st david’s lodge No 69 a.f. & a.m. january 2nd 1924’ on the reverse, this otherwise plain, wt. 62.4 gms, in wallet as issued. A very well made American Masonic jewel in virtually perfect state , the wallet damaged (£650-750)
