LLOYD'S MEDAL FOR SAVING LIFE AT SEA, 2nd type, silver, named on edge (1872 Edward Puttock 1897) and with old handwritten label 'This medal was given to me by Colonel Sir Henry Hozier Secretary of Lloyds in consideration of my 25 years service 1872-1897,' in its original fitted case, extremely fine
Lloyd's Medal for Services to Lloyd's was not instituted until November, 1913.
