The 3rd type medal, 30mm. in diameter, was manufactured by T. S. Cuthbert of Glasgow, and issued in gold between the years 1965-1975.

Andrew Reid, 11 Couper Place. Awarded on 20 September 1966. [with George Eric Gunnell and William Brown] ‘... for bravery in rescuing persons from a fire in a Glasgow tenement on 3rd April 1966’.
