With a Masters degree in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester, Andrew joined specialist auctioneer Spink in 2011. He gained valuable experience in the banknote department, working as a specialist and business manager, later becoming an auctioneer handling the finest British and world banknotes.

In July 2018, Andrew accepted a new position as Head of Banknotes at DNW, now Noonans, where he leads a dynamic team producing quality catalogues for collectors of all types of paper money. He’s a member of the International Banknote Society and he’s given several talks on subjects such as methods of grading banknotes and one of his particular interests: post-second world war military money.
