Jack Gregory was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, from Warrant Officer Class I, on 15 October 1944, and was promoted Lieutenant on 17 April 1952, and Captain on 22 October 1952. He relinquished his commission on 30 April 1961.
