John (as King, 1199-1216), Third coinage, Penny, Dublin, Roberd, roberd . on divel, king wearing decorated tunic, sceptre head before ex, pellet on inside of third ray, 1.40g/9h (Finn SNC May 1975, p.196, same obv. die; SCBI Ulster 608, same obv. die; S –; DF –). Crimped, about very fine; perhaps only the second known example of this variety, and extremely rare thus £300-£360
