A scarce example, the burnished gilt rectangular back plate with silvered mounts, laurel wreath to the centre, Stafford knot with ‘80’, Egypt Sphinx above, at the top a Light Infantry bugle, two studs and lugs to the rear, gilt worn, otherwise good condition £1,200-£1,600
