A Skit Note ‘Publish’d as the Act directs by J.S.Jordan, No.166 Fleet Street, London’, for Self, Expope, Cardinal, Inquisitor, Rack & Torment, 2 Pence, Loretto, 15 February 1798, promising to pay ‘General Monk or Bearer, on the reestablishment of the Papal Power in Rome’, signed by Maria Crucifix and Dominick Friar, with a vignette of a Papal crown, with the text ‘Vive la Liberte’ and ‘T’will soon be over’, repaired along central fold, overall fine, scarce £100-£150
