G. H. Swaby was born in Bow and lived at Bethnal Green. He died of wounds on 20 September 1918, received the previous day at Sevre Tepe. He is buried at Ramleh War Cemetery.

William Bowman served in Gallipoli from 10 August 1915 where he was wounded. On recovering from his wounds he was posted back to his battalion in Palestine on 27 January 1917, serving with them until he was demobilized on 20 May 1919.

Leonard Walker was born, lived and enlisted in Hackney. He was killed in action on 2 November 1917, at the third Battle of Gaza. His name is commemorated on the Jerusalem Memorial.
