Vesty, 9th Lancers) brooch mounted on reverse, very fine; Tidworth Garrison Sports Association Medal, bronze, obverse inscribed, ‘Football’, reverse inscribed, ‘Knox Cup, 1919-20 Winners, 9th Lancers’, this last with contact marks, nearly very fine £60-80

Gordon Reginald Diplock was born in Burgess Hill, Sussex, lived at Groombridge, and enlisted at Chichester. Serving with the 9th Lancers, he died of wounds on 29 March 1918. He was buried in the Le Cateau Military Cemetery.
