Three: Lance-Corporal J. Charlett, 1st Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, who was taken prisoner at Kut-al-Amara and died on the march at Angora on 28 March 1917

John Charlett was born at Beckley, Oxon, and enlisted into the 1st Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, in 1899 and was discharged to Army Reserve in 1907. He was re-called for service in 1914 and served in the Asiatic theatre of war from 5 December 1914. Taken prisoner at Kut-al-Amara in April 1916 and died at Angora on the 28 March 1917.
