England, Edward Rossiter [1647], a modern copy of a silver badge, perhaps late 19th century, armoured bust left within floral border, rossiter on rev., 32 x 24mm (Platt type C: cf. MI I, 329/170); Duchess of Richmond [1667], a uniface plated cast copy of a restrike medal by M. Young after J. Roettiers, draped bust left, 70mm (cf. MI I, 541/195) [2]. About extremely fine £50-£70

Platt attributes the first medal to the late 18th century and James ‘Athenian’ Stuart, but it would appear to be somewhat later than that
