N 9290 fair and pierced, others very fine, N 7919 and 7925 with ‘river’ patina, these both very rare and the former from the obverse die with barely any flaw £240-£300

Provenance: *N 7919 found in the R. Thames at Queenhithe, bt Baldwin; N 7925 found in the R. Thames, bt Baldwin June 1988; N 7933 bt N.A. Clark; N 9290 bt Baldwin.
The clarity of this specimen of N 7919 clearly shows that the obverse device is a tree, not a sunburst or pot of lilies as has been suggested by previous authors
