An Archaeological Revival gold panel bracelet, circa 1870, the six square panel links each with a round domed boss to the centre, with applied wirework decoration, each with a round glazed locket panel verso displaying a photograph of a Victorian child, with a smaller rectangular panel to one end, similarly decorated, in original purple velvet fitted case, interior silk signed ‘Catchpole and Williams, Oxford Street’, length 18cm. £1,200-£1,600

Catchpole & Williams Ltd were well respected retailers of jewellery and silverwares in the late 19th to mid 20th century. They exhibited at the Franco-British Exhibition of 1908 and the 1910 Japan-British Exhibition.
