A German Third Reich Teno Officer’s Dagger. An exceptionally good example of the difficult to obtain Teno officers dagger. The blade is mint bright with all its original cross grain finish remaining. The large outspread winged Teno insignia plus the Eickhorn insignia below is deeply etched with a dark grain matt field, set off against the brightness of the dagger blade, the blade is correctly stamp numbered ‘0411’ and is number matched to the upper throat ‘0411’. The orange grip is without any cracks. There is no plating lifting anywhere on the dagger, which is quite a common feature of the Teno officers dagger, also the dagger retains virtually all of its shaded black patination to the upper pommel, cross guard and the scabbard. There is one minor indentation on the front side of the scabbard approximately 8cm from the base, otherwise good condition £1,400-£1,800
