Charles I (1625-1649), Chester mint, Halfcrown, mm. three upright gerbs, horseman left, Chester plume in field, chst below horse, oval scroll-garnished shield, 12.73g/12h (Bull 575 (47-2), this coin; Lyall B/2; SCBI Brooker 1111; N 2627/1; S 3130). Slightly bowed and very spread from the roller press, otherwise very fine, reverse better, very rare £2,400-£3,000
