Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Halfcrown, 1645, mm. plume on obv. only, Briot’s horseman, Oxford plume behind king, grassy ground line below, colon stops, three plumes above Declaration, date and ox below, five pellets at start of legend, 15.13g/10h (Bull 623/10 (Ox.2-17-4a), this coin; Morr. C-10; SCBI Brooker 914, same obv. die; N 2428; S 2959). On an irregular flan and with small patch of corrosion at 12 o’clock, otherwise good very fine, toned £600-£800
