Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, South Africa 1902 (43654 Pte. A. Nevison. 136th. Coy. Imp: Yeo:) polished, nearly very fine £70-90

Alfred Nevison was born in Addingham, Penrith, Cumberland (now Cumbria) in 1880 and attested for the Imperial Yeomanry at Newcastle-upon-Tyne on 7 January 1902. He served with the 136th Company, 30th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa during the Boer War from 8 May 1902, and was discharged at Malmesbury on 9 October 1902, after 276 days’ service.
