Miss Ada Osbourne, who served as a Canteen Assistant with the 4th Southern General Hospital, later became Mrs Ada Fleming. With copied medal index cards for both names - with that for ‘Osbourne’ bearing the name of the hospital and the remark, ‘House Service Only!’.
