1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star; Italy Star; War Medal 1939-45, M.I.D. oakleaf, in their original card forwarding box addressed to ‘Mr. L. W. Green, 34 Lonsdale Rd., Bournemouth, Hants’, together with related Jubilee Naval Review Medal 1935, the reverse inscribed, ‘Cadet L. W. Green’, good very fine and better (5) £80-100

Leslie Willoughby Green was mentioned in despatches for his services as a Midshipman in the sloop H.M.S. Black Swan off the Dutch, Belgian and French coasts (London Gazette 27 August 1940), and again as a Lieutenant for his services in the barrage balloon vessel Haslemere (London Gazette 8 June 1944).
