Austria, A large uniface bronze plaque, by Oskar Thiede, Austrian general in centre calling forward infantrymen in foreground, a wood in the distance, “janówka 31 Aug 1914’ above, “ K. F. A. O. Thiede” below, 199mm. Extremely fine, but colour rather dull and dark at margins perhaps as a result of exposure to heat (£60-80)
