LONDON, [Newgate], Christ’s Hospital, Mathematical School, 1673, a silver medal by J. Roettier, double defined image, a pentagono ad lineam rectam introrsvm pro qvadrato, rev. a qvadrato ad lineam rectam exreosvm, single defined image, 56mm, 45.51g (MI I, 559/222). A trifling graze in upper obverse field, otherwise about extremely fine and toned, an extremely rare mule of two reverses £600-800
