M.M. London Gazette 2 November 1917.

Thomas Williams attested for the South Wales Borderers at Tredegar and served with the 10th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 3 December 1915. He was awarded the Military Medal on 31 August 1917, most likely for an act of gallantry in August 1917 during the 3rd Battle of Ypres when the battalion was advancing towards Langemarck, and transferred to Class ‘Z’ Reserve on 27 January 1919.
