43rd (Monmouthshire Light Infantry) Regiment Other Ranks Cross Belt Plate c. 1831 - 1855, a good quality example in heavy die stamped brass, the rectangular plate with the raised design of the crown over a strung bugle horn enclosing ‘43’, top left hand corner missing and a ‘nibble’ further along the top edge, two out of the four broad tang fasteners lacking otherwise good condition for age £250-350
